Public Meeting Howard County Capital Projects: P4928: New/Third Police Station F5976: North Columbia

Howard County Councilperson Mary Kay Sigaty and staff from Howard County’s Department of Public Works (DPW), Department of Fire and Rescue Services and Police Department invite the community to a public meeting on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Kahler Hall, 5440 Old Tucker Row, Columbia, MD 21044, to discuss two projects in the Fiscal Year 2018 Proposed Capital Budget: F5976: North Columbia Fire Station and P4928: New/Third Police Station

An open house to view proposed renderings of the capital projects and ask questions of departmental staff will take place beginning at 7:00 p.m.  A formal presentation will follow at 7:30 p.m. After the presentation, staff members will take questions from attendees.

Prior to release of the County Executive’s proposed FY18 Capital Budget on April 1, more information about the police station (P4928) can be found in the approved FY17 Capital Budget (https://www.howardcountymd.gov/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=SZ5V2Q8BUv8%3d&portalid=0) and the fire station (F5976) can be found in the FY18 Planning Board Budget (https://www.howardcountymd.gov/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=01BGGeXNQi4%3d&portalid=0 ).
