Six candidates are running for three seats on the Howard County School Board of Education. ALL six will attend the upcoming Forum at the Other Barn on Thursday, October 13th from 7- 8:45pm.
In advance of the forum, the candidates were asked to answer four questions. The questions asked and answers from each candidate are posted on the Oakland Mills website (oaklandmills.org) and can be viewed by clicking HERE. The candidates’ responses are listed in alphabetical order and posted exactly as submitted.
The Forum will provide an opportunity for each candidate to give an introductory statement and provide a response to one of four questions provided to the candidates in advance. There will be time for audience

Howard County Community College’s Center for Mediation and Conflict Resolution Center will facilitate the Forum along with the Oakland Mills Community Association’s Education Committee. Sponsors are the ten villages of Columbia which are: Oakland Mills, Dorsey’s Search, Harper’s Choice, Hickory Ridge, Kings Contrivance, Long Reach, Owen Brown, River Hill, Town Center and Wilde Lake.
