HOWARD COUNTY LIBRARY TO HOST CORONAVIRUS PREPARATION MEETINGS

The Howard County Health Department has been hosting a series of free community presentations this week and one next week to provide more information on the new coronavirus. According to the health department, the presentations will inform Howard residents about current developments, local planning efforts and preventive actions. The PowerPoint presentation can be found here. The first library presentation, held on Wednesday, will be posted on YouTube after the session. Space will be limited for people who want to attend in person, so residents are encouraged to view the livestream or YouTube video. The one remaining presentation is scheduled for 2 to 3 p.m, Tuesday, March 10 at Miller Branch library, 9421 Frederick Road in Ellicott City.

Those interested in attending the presentation in person must register ahead of time. To register, click here and then search “Protecting You and Your Families” to find Tuesday’s presentation.
