@Stephen Ingley- As village manger, this hands-off approach to something that is extremely offensive to the community is unacceptable. Please provide the contact information for the organizers so our concerns can be addressed.
AGREE! why in the world was a group like "Free Palestine" allowed to march - behind community groups like swim team & Scouts? with people wearing masks (& I don't mean COVID masks) - would anyone let a KKK group march? please don't say "all are welcome" - why in the world would we have something so inflammatory for a community, local event?
I feel like 4th of July is a celebration of all things American. Parades like this should be more about the great things of living in this country, NOT political movements and manifestations of heated current issues like the one I saw today at the parade. Political propagandas and manifestations like Free Palisrine have no place on this parade.
