The ALPHA RIDGE LANDFILL WOODWASTE AREA only (2350 Marriottsville Road) will be open extended hours from 8am to 8pm on Saturday, July 2 and July 9. Please note: The Convenience Area and Transfer Building will be open regular hours, Monday-Saturday, 8am to 4pm.
On Saturday, July 2 and July 9, there will be a TEMPORARY WOODWASTE DROP-OFF site at the HOWARD COUNTY LIVING FARM MUSEUM, 12985 Frederick Road, West Friendship, MD (across from the Howard County Fair Grounds). This site will be open 8am to 8pm and is limited to woodwaste material only (brush and branches), no trash will be accepted. Only Howard County residents hauling woodwaste will be accepted.
