Do you have an old working room air conditioning unit or dehumidifier to recycle? BGE residential customers can stop by the Columbia Athletic Club on Saturday, June 2 and drop off up to two room air conditioning units and/or dehumidifiers and receive a $25 reward! The units must be in working condition to be eligible. Customers will receive a check for $25 approximately four to six weeks after the event.
Rain or shine, BGE representatives will be on hand to unload units directly from vehicles. The event will be held from 9am-1pm at Columbia Athletic Club, 5435 Beaverkill Road in Columbia. Columbia Association will also be handing out ENERGY STAR-certified LED light bulbs and coupons for mini-golf at Columbia SportsPark.
